NEW JERSEY STATE RETIRED POLICE AND FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION, INC.

PURPOSE:
To promote and develop a friendly spirit among its members and to promote and encourage legislative action at the Federal, State and Municipal levels of government in protecting and improving the PENSION, HEALTH BENEFITS and GENERAL WELFARE of police and firefighter retirees as well as of their survivors and /or other beneficiaries.

MEMBERSHIP:

Active membership shall be open to all retired individuals who were employed full time; as a policemen with a paid police department, New Jersey State Police, County Sheriff’s Office, as a detective or investigator with a County Prosecutor’s Office; in any capacity that included possessing criminal law enforcement powers, or as a firemen with a paid fire department; and is receiving a pension from a State, County, Local or Federal Pension System covering Law Enforcement and/or full time fireman. It should be noted that the female gender are obviously included in referring to Policemen and Firemen.

Associate membership shall be open to all individuals who are in their twenty fifth year or more of service, but still actively employed full time in organizations as above stated.
